The iiyama ProLite T1721MSC-B1 is a 17-inch professional-grade touchscreen monitor designed for high-usage commercial environments. With its sharp 1280x1024 SXGA resolution and 5:4 aspect ratio, it delivers crisp, clear visuals suitable for retail POS systems, industrial kiosks, control rooms, and other demanding applications.
At the heart of the display is a responsive 10-point Projective Capacitive (P-CAP) touchscreen, built into an edge-to-edge glass surface for a sleek, modern appearance and durable protection. The screen is coated with 7H hardened scratch-resistant glass, providing reliable touch performance even when operated with gloves or a stylus. The touch interface connects via USB and supports multi-platform compatibility, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
The display panel features 250 cd/m² brightness (215 cd/m² with touch layer), a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a 5ms response time, ensuring smooth, vibrant image reproduction even in fast-paced interactive settings. With wide viewing angles (170° horizontal / 160° vertical), content remains clearly visible from different perspectives — ideal for shared workspaces or customer-facing installations.
Engineered with flexibility in mind, the monitor comes with a tilt-adjustable stand (-10° to +70°) that allows users to position the screen at the most ergonomic angle. It also supports VESA mounting (100x100 mm) for easy integration into custom stands, arms, or enclosures. Rear-mounted OSD controls can be locked and the touchscreen can be disabled for easy cleaning and public use security.
Connectivity is simple and robust, with VGA and DVI-D inputs for video, a USB port for touch interface, and built-in 2W stereo speakers. A 3.5 mm headphone output jack is also included.
