Chief Freestyle Rotation Adapter FRA

The Chief Freestyle Rotation Adapter (FRA) is a high-flexibility mounting accessory designed for use with Chief’s ConnexSys and Fusion display‑mount systems. It gives designers the ability to rotate mounted screens, enabling highly creative and non-standard video-wall layouts. You can achieve full 90° rotation, and by installing the adapter in different orientations, you unlock a full 360° of positioning freedom.

Key features include positive lockouts every 15°, which ensures precise and repeatable positioning, and micro‑adjustment when paired with ConnexSys mounts for fine-tuning. The adapter supports overlapping displays (especially when used with the Fusion FCADA accessory), enhancing customisation and visual impact.

In terms of load capacity, it supports up to 56.7 kg (125 lbs) when used with ConnexSys systems, and 24.95 kg (55 lbs) when used with single-stud Fusion mounts, making it suitable for a wide range of screen sizes. It is compatible with wall, ceiling, or freestanding Fusion mounts for maximum flexibility.

The FRA comes in a sleek black finish and accommodates VESA mounting patterns from 200 × 200 mm up to 400 × 400 mm, covering most common large-format displays. Backed by Chief’s 10-year warranty, this adapter is a durable and powerful tool for creative AV installations.
