The DS-QAPS4U20-2 combines a high-output 200W amplifier with 16 × 2.25-inch neodymium speaker units in a slim linear column design. Its digital beam-control technology allows the vertical beam direction, beam width and directivity angle to be adjusted to suit different room layouts and listening areas.
The speaker provides 160° horizontal coverage with adjustable beam width from 10° to 50° and directivity adjustment within ±30°. Integrated DSP functions include compression, delay, mixing, ALC, parametric EQ, noise gate and beam control.
For networked audio installations, the speaker supports AES67 alongside TCP/IP, RTP, RTSP, RTCP, NTP, QoS and other professional network protocols. A Gigabit Ethernet interface provides network connectivity, while the analogue LINE IN allows conventional audio sources to be connected.

Network & audio features
The DS-QAPS4U20-2 is particularly suited to professional networked AV installations, supporting AES67 for network audio transmission and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. Beam steering can be configured through Hikvision's Audio Assistant software, allowing the sound field to be tailored to the room rather than relying on a fixed vertical dispersion pattern.
