The DS-QAPAR50-4 is designed for demanding professional audio applications where four independently controlled amplifier channels are required. It delivers 4 × 500W into 8Ω, increasing to 4 × 765W at 4Ω and 4 × 1301W at 2Ω in stereo mode. Bridge operation provides up to 2 × 2,601W at 4Ω.
The Class D architecture provides power efficiency of up to 90%, while the PFC full-bridge switching power supply supports a wide 90–260VAC input range. Stereo, bridge and connect modes provide installation flexibility, while the selectable gain range and limiter switch allow the amplifier to be adapted to different professional audio systems.
The amplifier uses four XLR inputs and four SPEAKON outputs and occupies only 1U of 19-inch rack space. Comprehensive protection includes over-temperature, DC, short-circuit, signal overload, soft-start and power-supply over-current protection.
