The Hikvision DS-QAPS1R40-12R is a high-output 12-inch professional monitor speaker designed for demanding live sound and stage-monitoring applications. With 400W rated power and an 8Ω impedance, it provides substantial acoustic output while maintaining a broad frequency response.
The speaker features a 12-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter, with 96.6dB sensitivity and up to 127dB peak SPL. Its 90° × 60° coverage provides controlled horizontal and vertical sound dispersion, while the robust multi-layer solid-wood construction is suited to professional use.
Unlike the DS-QAPS1R40-12 full-range installation speaker, the DS-QAPS1R40-12R is specifically designated as a monitor speaker and uses a dedicated monitor cabinet format. Hikvision's professional audio catalogue specifies bottom support as its installation method.
