The DS-UVC-P28 delivers high-quality 4K video at up to 30 fps, with Full HD output available at up to 60 fps. Its low-distortion varifocal lens provides a focal range of 3.4–40.8 mm, equivalent to 23.1–277.2 mm, giving the camera a horizontal field of view from 80.5° down to 7.6°.
The camera combines 12× optical zoom and 4× digital zoom with automatic/semi-automatic focus, making it suitable for both wide room views and detailed shots of presenters or participants. Pan adjustment is ±165° and tilt adjustment is -30° to +30°.
For conferencing audio, the camera has two integrated MEMS microphones with 360° omnidirectional pickup up to 5 metres. Automatic gain control, echo suppression, ambient-noise reduction, smart noise reduction and enhanced-vocal processing help improve speech clarity.
The DS-UVC-P28 connects through USB Type-C with USB 3.0, providing plug-and-play operation without dedicated driver software. It supports Windows, Android, Linux and macOS and is compatible with mainstream video-conferencing applications.
